From APorpoise: Hello Tammy, I would suggest that you see an Endocrinologist. It could be a Pit tumor, but it also could be Hypothyroidism......or both. When there are irregularities in the pituitary it is very common that there are problems in the thyroid. Endocrinologist study glands (pituitary, thyroid, etc.) and hormones. From DoriBelle1964: Hi Yes! Yes! Yes!!!! I do believe that you could have a pit tumor. That is the reason I was diagnosed. I had stopped breastfeeding my last child and one year later I was still lactating. Headaches and vision disturbances. I still struggle with weight gain and loss it is extremely hard to lose weight. Have you had your thyroid checked? It too can cause some of these symptoms. I would run,not walk to the doctors office. Good luck and keep me posted lori From tammy111: I have had my thyroid checked and it is normal. My periods are very irregular. They are at least 50 days apart. Thanks. Was your prolactin level normal? |
