First, we are all here in need of support and should treat each other that way. Second, you all are right to some extent.

Aporpoise: I am trying to take my health into my own hands which has landed me here and to a plethora of other sites and research sources. I had to make a decision to do what I can to convince my dr. and other who could help through conducting my own research OR paying out of my pocket and adding to my symptoms the extreme stress it would cause to worry about how I would pay my bills and keep a roof over my head. I decided that it wa better to try other avenues to ensure that I can maintain my basic needs for survival.

I appreciate all of the other input too! It never occurred to me that I might be able to consult with my insurance company about not being able to obtain a referral...thanks Minnie. I also appreciate that I am not the only one out here struggling, however I will not give up and am not taking my health lightly.

Thanks again!
Janel
