----------------------------------------------------------- From: liltrubin Message 14 in Discussion <WBR>Dear HormonalSouthernGal: How did you make out at the Endo? I agree with you. Those pounds sneak up quick! I know for myself I will be a pound heavier in the evening then I am in the morning but when I start to gain that four or five pounds in a few days I know something is up!!!! I hate being dismissed and told it has nothing to do with the tumor...hum! Dizzy-headaches - help! ----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat ----------------------------------------------------------- From: HormonalSouthernGal Message 8 in Discussion I am a sporadic poster, but use this board as a constant reminder that "I am not alone." Tomorrow (Monday) morning, I'm calling my endo's office so that he can order lab work for me. I also have a very small prolactinoma and I'm treated with daily bromocriptine. I only see my endo once a year, now, but when I'm not feeling "right," I am able to call for him to make sure my levels are within normal range. I'm also considering switching to a different endo, because I'm not convinced that my current one is very aggressive, and I feel like he often tosses my complaints aside as just an aging woman symptom. Today, I stood on the scale and saw that I had gained 4 lbs. in less than a week. My husband doesn't think that is a big deal, since people's weight fluctuates daily. But, when I look at that weight gain, during a time frame when I have been exercising more, eating less and I'm about two weeks late for a period, I can't help but think it is prolactin related. This is a good board. It is nice to have people that understand. ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
