<WBR>Dear Seagirls3:

I guess if it is working for you and your symptoms are managed then you are
fine. I would still go get an MRI every now and again. You are taking
medication to control your tumor. Medication works to control your type of
tumor. Other types of tumors cannot successfully be controlled with medication
and they continue to slowly grow. You need to do what works for you. Even
seeing an endo as well as a neurologist who is a pain specialist I went from
completely functional with the best health I ever had to not being able to
function, drive, or complete normal everyday activities in a matter of three
weeks. My tumor was classified as non-functioning for 5 years and then all the
sudden my cortisol was high as well as my prolactin so I have no idea what type
of tumor my monster has developed into-:) I should find out by the end of this
week when the pathology report comes back.

Good for you for being managed so well. That is very exciting!!!! It also gives
the rest of us hope and shows new people that these little monsters can be
managed!!!!

HUGS,

Tina

I was diagnosed after the birth of my 2nd daughter, went on Dostinex 2x weekly
and became pregnant with my 3rd daughter a couple months after my period
started. That was almost 6 years ago now. My question is: Does anyone NOT see
an endo? I only see my family dr. She checks my prolactin about every 6 months
and adjusts the Dostinex accordingly. I have been taking 1/2 a pill once a week
for about the past 6 months. I've had ONE MRI, ever. It was small, 7mm when I
was diagnosed. Who knows what it is now. They don't plan to do another one!
Does
this seem "normal"?
