I have a beautiful 13 month old son and was diagnosed with a microadenoma about
4 years before getting pregnant. I took dostinex for about a year or two and
the tumor disappeared. (I'm back on cabergoline because my prolactin levels
were still slightly elevated after I finished breast feeding - and an MRI
showed that a 4 mm tumor had returned.) I got pregnant at 39 yrs old with only
one ovary (cyst found when I was 27 yrs old). And after the prolactinoma was
initially diagnosed and I began dostinex, I bled very heavily - it turned out I
had a huge fibroid in my uterus that I needed surgery for. So... with all of
these problems and a little help from a reproductive endo and acupuncturist, I
got pregnant. Don't give up hope! It might just take awhile. Try to relax
(can you do yoga? are you able to visit an acupuncturist?) - stress can keep
those prolactin high. Good luck...
