----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Chris_Wenninger Message 14 in Discussion Hey Annetta - This is Jason's Mom (aka Ogy's Mom). I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. The one thought that I had was if Bill's gallbladder had been removed. I don't know about the side effects for somovert, but I know with Sandostatin it is a big issue. Jason was really getting sick just about everytime he ate. It was eat and then run to the bathroom. Even though his ultrasound for gallstones did not show anything significant, the surgeon removed it based on symptoms. Each month since it has been removed Jason is doing better. Very rarely does he have digestive discomfort. And the funny thing is he appears to be able to tolerate the Sandostatin LAR better also. I think these drugs make it so the the gallbladder does not function properly. Like I said, just a thought - you and Bill have been through so much. Best wishes - Chris ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/PituitaryChat/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
