It has to do with the overproduction of bile and liquids in absence of the gallbladder. She takes a medicine called Colisted (sp). It is granular and you mix it with OJ or something. She also found that online that taking Calcium with Vit. D really helped. She has tried the different meds for irritable bowel disease but one made her much worse and was eventually taken off the market. (nice) So, when I read about the bathroom comment and Imodium, it made me think of my mom. She is much better now, but there are herbal things you can take as well to help. She is just sensitive to those. Check online for message boards on IBS.
