After sitting down for a group code review on Friday, I've made some more
changes, mostly quite minor.
I looked at using copy.deepcopy() in fmri, and it was almost four times as
slow as what's currently there. We may be able to shave some time off of
the current implementation, but we can look at that later.
I also took a look at some of the simplifications suggested for
__inventory() (the return value from __multimatch() and setting "patterns"
to [ "*" ]), but neither one was showing any immediate wins. I don't doubt
some more work in that area would be worthwhile, but again, I think we
should look at that later.
