Yes. This would appear on the appropriate confirmation dialogs. User
can enable the feature again by going to Preferences. What I imagine is
changing the section title from "Install/Update" to "Confirmation
Dialog" with two options that are selected by default:
"Confirm on _Install/Update"
"Confirm on _Remove"
Of course, need input from jyothi on wording.

And, I don't think this is in the current GUI, but I can see wanting
to add "Don't ask me this again" checkbox option at the bottom of
the appropriate confirm dialogs which toggle this Preference(s).

would it make sense to change the labels in the preferences dialog to
not specify "Install/Update"?
