In principle I could sponsor the package however I think you should follow the advise given at http://wiki.debian.org/DebianGis/InfoForDevelopers#Maintainership and use the Debian GIS developers list as maintainer and put yourself as Uploader. I'm not sure about Debian GIS upload policy but in Debian Med we usually use DM-Upload-Allowed: yes to enable DMs uploading packages. (If you seriousely consider working on these packages long term which is what I understand from your mails you should definitely apply for becomming a DM / DD.) Moreover I would like you to inject your packaging into Debian GIS SVN and set Vcs fields accordingly. BTW, lintian reveals some "Information" messages if started in nitpicking mode: lintian -i -I *.deb *.dsc Perhaps you might consider fixing these as well. Kind regards and thanks for working on these packages Andreas. -- http://fam-tille.de _______________________________________________ Pkg-grass-devel mailing list Pkg-grass-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-grass-devel
