Kevin, I can't imagine we'd want this.  What for ?
It's way too complicated and we don't really need
that kind of scriptability.  My opinion: keep it simple and
stupid.

Python is a very nice scripting language (unlike TCL :)).
But there's no reason to bother with it, that I can
think of.
