BTW, anybody think that writing a /dev/vcsa based UI would be a Good Idea? vcsa maps 1:1 to the VGA memory in text mode. Hell, we could mmap it, if that wouldn't be incompatable with our messing with the [GLI]DT. Is it worth the trouble, or is the ncurses UI fast enough? the vcsa mode wouldn't work for non-linux systems, or even outside of the console. -=- James Mastros
