I like it. Just to be boring, I think "quite safe" is not really accurate and doesn't explain the problem. The problem is not the safety, but the dependency problems you may encounter. Still, Easyurpmi page doesn't warn about it. It's enough just to add a simple line like "Warning : using Official with PLF may cause dependency problems, see http://plf.zarb.org/packages.php";.
