Thanks for the hint with the constant size, I didn't know that and the
check_rpmsrate script!
The rest is already done, but I didn't mention that. I created a new
group in compssUsers.pl called PLF (below LSB) and a corresponding entry
in rpmsrate (with the packages I posted in my fist email).
The only things I don't know are the numbers in rpmsrate for the packages
(from 1 to 5).
It seems that 5 is for "Packed is selected by default" but the others...?
I did not find any hint in qa.mandivalinux.com/wiki

give me a list of the RPMS from "non-free cooker" and I will see what I can do
(wifi's, hsfmodems,...what else?)

kernel-source is excluded, only kernel-source-stripped is included
