The biggest problem is that mkcd checks the dependencies again! To copy the non-free directory into media is no problem, genhdlist script and gendistrib script also makes no problem. But mkcd checks the dependencies for this directory again and and does not recognize the main/release directory, so many packages are rejected because of missing dependencies :-( I don't know why mkcd has problems like that, I did the same things in my configuration files like for the plf ones (only warly could answer that question I think) At the moment I see 2 possibilities: 1) integrate the non-free packages into main/release 2) run mkcd for non-free directory with the option --nodeps I like non of them, but I think I'll try the second one first, because there are no "real" dependency problems (gendistrib script would have show them) and I don't like mixing release and cooker Here is a snip of the new rpmsrate file: CAT_PLF 5 win32-codecs real-codecs xanim-codecs x264 xvid faac faad2 gstreamer avifile 4 transcode Video-DVDRip mandvd ffmpeg subtitleripper libdvdcss2 ogmrip lame 3 APE googleearth opera pine 3 unace unrar unarj 2 mythtv mythtv-frontend mythtv-backend mythvideo 2 snes9x k9copy xscreensaver 2 CAT_KDE kmldonkey kde-theme-baghira kde-icons-IcOsX 1 xmule amule mldonkey sancho-gui nicotine Regards Stefan _______________________________________________ PLF-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://www.zarb.org/mailman/listinfo/plf-discuss
