Well, my point of view is maybe too ergonomy-centric (I'm studying Media Computer Sciences), but I think it could improve Plucker's popularity a lot if it's as easy to use as AvantGo or other products in this range, especially for non-developers. Not charging money for something doesn't mean you shouldn't do some good marketing for such a great product, IMHO ;-)) . > That's strange :-) Well, I enjoy it as many tray icons are not used at all - and that way they just disappear silently, and when you need them, you get them back. IMHO a nice XP feature... > Sorry, with icons i talk about the shortcuts in the Plucker startmenu > group. Me too - these don't appear for me. But I have anyway moved the Plucker program group to another folder in the start menu, so maybe that's the problem? > Are there other programs that do this? I could provide a dump of that portion of my registry, if that helps (per private mail, of course). > I have found no API for installing an Shortcut here? Not sure if one exists... did you also have a look at the latest Palm Conduit SDK? I think in the docs they had some information about how to do it properly. Phil
