aren't the id's assigned directly by palm?  this is extremely bad form.
what can we do about it?

According to the Palm Developer's Creator ID database query
(http://dev.palmos.com/creatorid/), 'Plkr' is the ID for Plucker.

Palm should be informed about this since it violates their Creator ID
guidelines as given in the ID registration form
(http://dev.palmos.com/creatorid/reg.cfm).

Point 3: "Each ID must be unique."
