You're running Linux, so why not just use pilot-link's method of
doing this, by setting up a daemon on the server side, which is listening
for connections on 14238, etc. and then tell your users to configure their
Palm with install-netsync to point to your server with the right IP and so
on, and sync away. NetWork Hotsync.
Now the only problem is trust, and security.
