I've been running the most recent beta that was announced here
(a couple of weeks ago) and was also seeing crashes now and then
when syncing the documents list: once the first time I went to the
doc list view after installing the beta (previously running 1.1.14),
but a couple times after that. Also, every now and then I'd see doubled
entries in the doc list view, usually the last item in a document list
when the list was scrolled all the way down. Deleting that document
wouldn't delete both copies; attempting to delete the other copy gave
an error (but entry remained in the document view).
One other problem I had with the beta: the icon for the selected icon
in the document list view is now very hard to tell from the unselected
icons, and it doesn't matter what screen depth was used. With 1.1.14,
unselected documents are an unfilled folder and the selected one is
filled; with the beta, the unselected icon is a page with lines on it
and the selected one is the same but with a one-pixel border around it.
The old icons were a lot easier to identify. (In general I've been
really impressed with all the icons in Plucker -- very expressive and
clear, seldom any problem figuring them out. I've always especially
liked the "thought bubble" and I was happy to see it was still there
in the beta. Much nicer than an hourglass.)

Is this something we should generally be doing when installing
a new beta? Is there an incompatibility in the document list?
I remember reading advice like that for the Sony betas (especially
when it used a different creator code from regular Plucker), but
wasn't clear that this applied to the current trunk betas.
