So you know how to filter on the body, but not how to filter on
the To: address? Chris, you are too clever for me to believe that
to be true ;-)

I personally do filter on To:, with all my lists in one whitelist file at the top of the filter set.  So for me this isn't an issue of ensuring I don't delete the messages.  But I do agree with the benefits of preceding the subject with something useful; all the other lists do that.  The benefit to me is I can quickly eyeball and save Plkr ones for a batch or sort and find them more easily using my standard settings.  I do read the list piecemeal most of the time, but when really busy on other stuff I'll defer the lists or quickly reset their statuses (for HotSyncing), which is easy with the other lists due to quickly-sorted subjects.  Only Plucker lists don't make this easy.

One thing I really don't understand, after about fourteen active months in the group, is why you (Mike) and David are so insistent on your views on so many of these topics.  Why turn it personal, talking about someone's cleverness or overtly being sarcastic?  When twice as many people have responded in favor as against and when it is fairly standard practice, why be so adamant against it?  How would doing it be evil?
