It turned out this autoscroll concept was firstly introduced by Max Vlasov - the author of ReadThemAll. So thank you Dave for pointing me out.

A quick note, RTA is an excellent book reader, but it doesn't have VFS support which means it cannot read books from your card. If that is not a problem for you then you should check it out.
