It performs well enough for my needs.  I've read a couple books on it
including Moby Dick.  iSilo and WordSmith also took some time the first
time I opened big documents in them.

I used to use iSilo for "multiformat" books downloaded from Fictionwise,
but with the advent of the JPluck DOC to Plucker conversion tool, I think
I can basically abandon iSilo.  I use Palm Reader for content that I can't
get in an open format.  I have WordSmith on my Palm as well, but I've
never used it as a reader, just a memopad replacement.
