I had the same problem in older versions of JPluck (haven't tried more
recent ones. It seems the cron library in JPluck is an older version that
doesn't support some of the features that you'd expect. In particular,
the day-of-week support seems to be broken: you can'd do something that
updates on Tuesday and Wednesday, but not the rest of the week.
According to an email I received from Laurens (the developer) a couple
months ago, JPluck development has stopped for the most part and won't be
handed over to another developer. However, as it's an open source license
(BSD style?) someone could hypothetically fork a renamed project using the
code base. I know I'd be interested in seeing that happen with the
discussions I've seen about adding new features to the Plucker format.
Heck, just getting table support would be a great addition.
Thankfully, Laurens has continued to support his users.
