Have you tried to use CRON to schedule any of the conversions?
That is probably it -- I did add a couple of cron entries last week.
if the CRON is invalid, the JXL will not load properly and the display
will exhibit the symptoms you describe. Basically, an exception is
being thrown by the CRON method and not properly caught.
Hm. I got an error message for an invalid cron entry the first time I
tried it, then looked up how the Java cron specifier differs from Unix
cron, fixed it, and the error message went away. So I don't think I have
invalid cron entries right now, and the fact that I got an error message
when I *did* have invalid cron entries makes me think that the exception
is being caught. Maybe the bug has been partly fixed.
But I'll change the cron entries back to weeklies when I get home.
Many thanks for the help.
I have not looked at the source for a while so maybe it did get fixed. I
have of coarse long since fix my CRONs so I don't know for sure. Let us
know if this is the problem or not!
Have you hand edited the JXL?
Jeffrey
