hi,
    Go for a memory card reader/writer. Not the ones with 9in1 or
12in1.. You get only SD/MMC ones which are of the same shape and size
of pen drives( ok...ok... some few millimeters thicker)..... then get
urself a memory card. The advantage of this is that you can also use
memory card in ur camera or phone etc...etc...and u can also cary
multiple cards with u.
now the economics...
I got my card read/writer for Rs 250 from Sujata.
and I got 256 MB memory card for Rs 700 from A&N services.
So total cost was Rs 950!!! ... 
u don't even get a 128MB pen drive for this cost....
