Try VLC, it can play flv files properly.

The link: http://www.videolan.org

It has pre-compiled binaries for a few of the major distros, but if you want
to use the latest version / with Fedora / Mandriva etc., you'll need to rely
on your package management software e.g. yum.

In case of Fedora, you will get binaries from rpm.livna.org and
www.freshrpms.net. Add their repostories to yum and enjoy!
