Note that www.baquiran.com is not currently running on AOLserver, and
hasn't been updated in a while.

I can't really compare it with Apache anymore, since I haven't really used
Apache heavily in a couple of years. I'm sure Apache has improved
considerably since I last used it.

Anyway, I have AOLserver 2.3.3 running under real-world loads, hooked to
PostgreSQL and handling an average of 50 simultaneous connections, with
each and every connection requiring around 10-15 database queries or
inserts.

I've also run it with an Oracle8 backend albeit only under controlled,
development conditions (constrained by wimpy hardware).

Of course, YMMV depending on hardware, database, etc.
