Thanks for this information. I'll definitely be checking on this regularly -
much of what i was looking for was answered in this site as the setup
described is very similar to ours. Once the ssl is enabled, will the site be
accessed through url https://... instead of http? or if not, is https an
entirely another method of securing web transactions? also, i did not see a
part there that pertains to certificates... does that mean i can maintain a
secure website without necessarily having a certificate?

Are there companies in the philippines actually using services from creadit
card transaction processors? It might be necessary for some of our sites
since target clients are not directed to a single country... but for others,
it may be a solution.
A web programmer at pldt who developed their online billing told me they're
using the bank transfer approach - you give your bank account number (pdcp)
and they deduct the bill from there.. I wonder how one gets an arrangement
with the bank to do this.
