F1 to F6 are all for console/text based. and F7 to F12 (im not sure if it's up to
F12, but for sure it starts with F7) are for the gui. try ctrl-alt-F7 to get back to
the gui. try ctrl-alt-f2 to f6, you'll see what i mean |-D
