What is really the minimum memory requirements in using Gnome and Red Hat Linux 6.2?
Actually, I have a 200MB swap file in my disk. Does it helps?

As i remember 128MB lang ata ginagamit ng linux for swap file diba? of course
if you have more RAM, the better kasi no need for swap file.... xwindows eats up lot
of memory resources kaya bumabagal.
To speed up a little, may be you want to remove the processes that you don't
need. (such as Webserver,mail server,ftp server, etc.)

Actually, I also installed the webserver, database server, mail server, ftp server,
etc. 'cause I'm interested to learn about it. Kaya ba ng PC ko with my specs stated
above to support what I've installed?
One more thing, I'm actually planning simple web programming in Linux which I'm not
yet familiar. If I will remove my Gnome, okay lang ba ipasa sa Linux ang mga programs
ko sa Windows? I've used HTML, Javascript, Photoshop, Dreamweaver & Java, pwede ba sa
Linux?
