Plus remove those unnecessary daemons (daemons that you will not use) like portmap and 
it's related components, lpd, pcmcia, etc.

I'm sorry but I'm really not that familiar yet with Linux environment.  Where can I 
find the daemons?  What are the daemons that I have to remove?

I really have to buy a RAM of 128MB, isn't it?
