We want to IT-equip our sales force to improve data and information between them and the office. Right now, they have nothing by way of IT hw except probably their cellphones. We are looking into equipping them with PDAs/Smartphones (XDA, Blackberry, SE P910i, Nokia 9x00 Communicators, etc.). > I suggest you look into SSH functionality if they > bring laptops with > them. We only have a handful of people who have laptops, and most of them are top management people. While they're not our primary target users, any solution we deploy should consider them as future users. Security is a top concern. One reason I am leaning towards a VNC-type access is to limit the amount of sensitive data that would be on the mobile units. --- mike t. ________________________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
