Depending on your traffic(encrypted) this will require
a good processor (64 bit will be great), a good ram
and a good system board for stability. remember, this
is a critical system. also you'll be requiring a *GOOD
interface card (most systemboards now have a *GOOD
built in interface card). Also study your
implementation carefully (will this connect to other
VPN implementation?) to minimize head ache (for inter
operability). A *GOOD OS (linux distro). Time will be
the key here since most are for free (you wil need to
understand crypto, OpenSWAN or OpenVPN). Check
