on a side-topic, it amuses me that people still recommend using Linux
boxes for firewall/NAT work for SME/SoHo applications. why bother with
the $^#$%$!! system administration and security issues of Linux when
you can buy a Linksys appliance (which incidentally is Linux inside)
for less than 5000 which does the job just as well, doesn't crash,
doesn't take forever to boot, consumes a tiny amount of power, just
sits there day in and day out and has no fan.
