thanks Rage.

whrere will i get the kernel-package? is it from kernel.org or from
debian mismo?

Yup. Just get the latest full tarball from kernel.org and you're good
to go. By the way, you also need to install build-essential.

You may also want to check out debian's kernel sources and backport
(recompile) it against sarge if you want to take advantage of the
fixes/patches that Debian has made. Haven't tried that though so let
me know if it works. Just get the .dsc, .orig.tar.gz, .diff and do:

dpkg-source -x *.dsc
cd into the extracted folder
modify any dependencies in debian/control if any (leave it alone if it works)
dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot

That's it. It's different compared to if you built it from vanilla
(kernel.org) sources but it should be fun how it turns out.

Good luck!
