Speaking of grid computing, is anybody here an expert / has had some experience? We're now trying to experiment with VDT (Virtual Data Toolkit, http://vdt.cs.wisc.edu/). We did the installation but are now in facing a blank wall. For example, how do we actually use it? Like, e.g., how do we actually submit jobs and which services to run, if any?

So true, maybe a grid computing ready distro? Apple's G4 and macOSX says it can do this and once connected to the grid the compile time (eg for Java) goes down almost to 1/100. I'd love that to be readily available for FC..
Thanks in advance,
