Because MS Office works well. I use OpenOffice on Windows, and I miss
so much the cool features of MS Office -- I can't even find an MS
Visio replacement (that's open source) that's worth my time and
effort.
I use ms office too when im forced to. I have openoffice on my linux laptop.
But im looking for an alternative. Until one comes along or i build
one i will still be using ms office when im forced to.
I dont like the ms office interface at all and its clones too. MS says
its latest office version has 1500 commands. Im not impressed. Thats
not high tech at all its madness.

things i hate about my linux pc:
1. it takes more than a second to boot up
2. keeps asking about filenames and directories
3. does not remember what i was working on yesterday
4. does not remember all the changes i have ever made
5.cannot figure out necessary settings by itself
