Also, while cost is an obvious benefit of F/OSS, it should not be the most critical reason of the bill itself. This is about taking charge of our own infrastructure by our own people, make freely available information accessible and ubiquitous, make it work in our country and cultivate local talent that will make sure this becomes sustainable and lessend the ever growing obvious digital divide in the country.
