anybody with a 1000$ fpga and a modified adsl modem can do that. but
of course you can be caught very easily since you are affectively
announcing where you are.

As for tracking users, you can opt to use telco's location base system (LBS)
which is precise to about 500 - 1km depending on the location (buildings,
weather, etc.) but using it on real time is limited due to the high amount
of resource it uses.


isnt there supposed to be a gps chip in the latest cellphones?
