You have to install fuse-2.6.3 and ntfs-3g support. The fuse rpm from
Fedora extra does not work. Just download fuse-2.6.3 from fuse.sourceforge.net
and compile as follows:

 ./configure --enable-kernel-module
  make
make install # as non-root enter: sudo make install

The latest ntfs-3g support can be installed from Fedora extras using the
command

yum install ntfs-3g

Then make changes in several files, as instructed by Laci in the url:

http://laci.linuxforum.hu/#ntfs-3g

Just follow the instructions in the section:
How to install ntfs-3g for Fedora Core 6?
That's all.

I am not sure how good and stable this NTFS r/w support is. I just
tried it now, and am still waiting for it to break. I hope it does not.

BTW, I am using kernel 2.6.19-1.2911.6.4.fc6.

Enjoy!
