hmmm.. i dunno if we have the same thing but i use a USB keyboard and
sometimes it is not detected by the system.  So the first boot sometimes
fails and a reboot will solve the problem.  good thing that i don't reboot
my box more than once a month, heheh.

Whenever I boot the system, it stalls. Then when i reset it the 2nd time
it boots it continues to boot with no hazzles...
