I'm not up-to-date with AS400 systems, but you might want to google around for RPG compilers in Linux, if any exists. Also, when I was still in the AS/400 universe, most systems are a combination of CL and RPG (or COBOL). So you might want to think of looking for a complete systems replacement -- RPG, CL and DB2.
Alternatively, I did come accross an AS/400 emulator for Wintel boxes. Maybe there're Linux-based solutions too. --- mike t. I know redhat ports applications from unix to redhat linux as a service to it's clients. Does that apply here? Dow about the cluster as a backup to the AS400? -- Regards, Danny Ching _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
