Most probably it's a variant of the Knoppix distribution. Shouldn't be
too hard to do. One of my guys did a custom one and called it Laggix
:) We use it to dd HDD's in a forensically sound manner.

But anyway, running the firewall & O/S from a bootable CD is a cool
idea, but not practical. It can't scale very well, and I'll have
reservations about its performance. But the biggest thing should be
how well the firewall protects stuff at the application layer.
