does this mean that we can't use de-css software? if so, that would mean that I cannot watch my video dvd's bought from America legally because they are region coded. but my sister in law can watch her pirated one from some sleazeball pirate. That is so inherently wrong. Why punish a paying customer, who legally paid? Isn't the purpose of region coding and drm to make life hard (or impossible) for the pirate? How come it is us law abiding citizens who are actually suffering? Do the film studios know that this is what's happening. Or are they still clueless about reality? Can the film studios tell me why i should continue buying original copies if I cannot watch it legally? Wouldn't it be logical to buy pirated instead? Is this what the studios want? Push the few remaining honest customers away?
