I'm a DVORAK layout user, although my keyboard is still has QWERTY labels on it (I could not convince my wife to switch).
I find the DVORAK layout more efficient. Just try to type the word STEWARDESS on both layouts and you'll understand why. I prefer typing Tagalog on QWERTY (because of our Consonant-Vowel-[consonant] combinations) and English on DVORAK. The distribution of the letters on the dvorak keyboard is based on the English usage. My two cents.
