I'd say #1 is the major reason.

For me at least, Linux is no longer my hobby. So i have no motivation
to experiment with it. Heck, I've used Windows as a desktop for the
past 18 months!!! before that, I was a pure Linux desktop guy.

I really miss the old days. Yes William, you're still here, but you no
longer post interesting topics.  :-P
