If you're looking to extend the wiki to an extranet type setup there's a
couple of different projects worth looking into.

First up is a pretty lightweight (resource wise) setup in Dokuwiki,
which comes with ACL's as standard.

Then there is the much chunkier but certainly more featureful Plone.

I'm a big fan of Drupal but as a previous poster mentioned, each tool
has its place, Drupal is a wonderful CMS, not so good as an extranet
setup.
