those kind of assumptions are advantageous to MSFT  :-)

i think it would be pointless to convince the school administrators when we
should be convincing the students instead. and i have to admit that there
are a lot of usability issues with a Linux Desktop as compared to other
desktop OS. you can still get away with though, but only if you jail the
user to a specific application ala kiosk, Web browser  :-)
