Some examples on this list:

"Something broke in XXX system so it must be Windows fault"

"Windows is unstable compared to Linux"

"Windows consumes so much more memory than Linux"

These are very familiar "truisms" in our community and people repeat
them a lot. But they are not true!! and repeating them is propagating
simplistic and wrong thinking. it's always good to know the strengths
AND weaknesses of the technology you espouse, as well as the same for
"opposing" technology.

It is not necessary to go overboard with advocacy. I've said this many
times, Linux technology stack speaks for itself. But we must be
realistic about its shortcomings as well.
