   I've no idea. When I switched from Red Hat I subscribed to receive a set
of disks each time an upgrade was released. I don't recall explicitly
subscribing to an announce list, and I don't remember the headers on the
patch notification messages. What I like is that patches are few and
infrequent and very easy to apply on my schedule.

   Of course, I'm a CLI guy so I much prefer having control over what's
installed and upgraded.
